'Pathaofood' service now in Chattogram

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 3: 'Pathaofood' service is now available in the port city of Chattogram after Dhaka.

Pathao, the app-based ridesharing service, launched the food service at a ceremony at the Peninsula Hotel on Monday.

Using the Pathaofood app, food lovers in Chattogram can now place orders for food delivery from hundreds of restaurants around the city.

The service will help customers get the food of their choice at their doorsteps within an hour of placing the order.

By introducing the new service, Pathao has created employment opportunity for many freelance cyclists and bikers, organisers said.

DC (traffic-north) of the Chittagong Metropolitan Police Harun-ur Rashid was present at the ceremony as the chief guest and Chittagong Union of Journalists president Nazimuddin Shyamol as special guest.

Pathao vice president Ahmed Fahad, head of Pathao Food Farzana Sharmeen and Pathao regional manager Ishfaque Chowdhury were also present.

Chattogranm city brims with culinary wonders around every nook and cranny of the commercial capital.

Food lovers can now use the App to order their favourite foods from any restaurant within their zone and without the hassle of any phone calls.

Previously, Pathao launched the food service in Dhaka.
