Pragoti Industries Limited, a firm under the industries ministry, has donated Tk 10 million (Tk 1.0 crore) to the Relief and Welfare Fund of the Prime Minister aiming to combat the epidemic of the deadly coronavirus in the country, reports BSS.
Prime Minister's Principal Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus received a cheque for the amount from Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), said a press release.
Among others, Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) Chairman Md Rois Uddin and Managing Director of Pragoti Industries Ltd Md Tohiduzzaman were present.
