PRAN bags $5.5m orders at Gulf Food Fair

Bangladesh's leading food processing and marketing company PRAN received an overwhelming response from international buyers at the Gulf Food Fair 2026, one of the world's largest food and beverage exhibitions.
The company secured export orders worth approximately USD 5.5 million. Biscuits, noodles, beverages, and confectionery products from buyers across different countries, including USA, China, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia, were among the orders, says a press release.


The five-day fair which was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates concluded on Friday. This year, more than 8,000 exhibitors from 195 countries showcased their products at the fair. PRAN Group displayed around 500 varieties of food products at its pavilion.
Mizanur Rahman, Executive Director (Export) of PRAN Group, said, "We are working to further strengthen our presence in Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, Central and South America and Europe. Keeping this objective in mind, we participate in the Gulf Food Fair every year, which is one of the world's largest food exhibitions."
"The Gulf Food Fair is an extremely important platform for food companies. It allows manufacturers and distributors to gain insights into new products and technologies. Participation by major global companies also helps us understand changes in consumer behaviour worldwide."
Golam Rasul, Executive Director (Export-Europe and USA) of PRAN Group, said, "This year, around 500 importers from Europe and other countries visited PRAN's stall. We showcased products from categories such as juice and beverages, biscuits and bakery, snacks, noodles, spices, culinary, and frozen foods.
