Prize giving ceremony of Apex Children\\\'s Art Competition held

Winners of the third Apex Children\'s Art Competition seen along with guests at the prize giving ceremony in the city recently.


The prize giving ceremony of the 3rd Apex Children's Art Competition was held at Apex Footwear Limited conference hall in the city recently, said a press statement.
A total of nine participants were awarded in light of their excellent pictures, while another 40 have been recognised for their outstanding performance.
Ex-dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University and eminent artist Rafiqun Nabi presided over the programme.
The competition was judged by a panel of three experienced judges: Art Critic Moinuddin Khaled and assistant professors of Faculty of Fine Arts, DU Abdul Momen Milton and Joya Shahrin Huq.
Syed Nasim Manzur, Managing Director, Rajan Pillai, Chief Operating Officer, Khandker Swanan Shahriar, General Manager (marketing) and other high officials were present on behalf of Apex on the occasion.
Rafiqun Nabi expressed his gratitude to Apex for organising such competition.
Syed Nasim Manzur said the sole purpose of the programme is to encourage the creativity of the children by creating a platform and Apex expects to continue the initiative in the years ahead.
The art competition was jointly sponsored by Apex's children's brands Twinkler and SchoolSmart. Both the brands are committed to providing hygienic and anatomic footwear that ensure proper growth of children's feet, while fostering activities such as art competitions to ensure their mental growth as well.
