Regent Airways mulls more aircraft, new routes

Regent Airways has unveiled a plan to acquire more aircraft and start nine new routes in next two years.
Chief Adviser of Regent Airlines Sam K Issac unveiled the plan while speaking at a Travel Partners' Annual Conference and Award Night 2014 in the city recently, said a press release.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon inaugurated the Frequent Flyer Card at the function.
Among others, Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority Air Vice Marshal Mahmud Hussain, ndc, psc, Chairman of Regent Airways Yasin Ali, Managing Director Mashruf Habib and Chief Operating Officer Ashish R Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
In his address, the chief adviser said all the aircraft would be keeping in line with the aviation standard.
The chief adviser also talked about how they are looking new investments in the organisation keeping in line with the vision of the organisation.
We are investing heavily on upgrading technology, changing into a new building for employee satisfaction and many more, he added.
Frequent Flyer programme called Regent Club was launched at the function. There are three categories of cards (Red, Silver and Gold). Every flyer with start with a Red card and will be upgraded to the next level after earning 2500 point which can be earned both by miles and fare.
All the customers have been requested to visit Regent Airway's sales offices for availing Regent Club membership.
Regent Airway's Chittagong agent BeFresh has stood first among all travel agents in Chittagong.
