A five-day 'REHAB Winter Fair 2019' will kick off at the city's Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) on Tuesday to promote the country's real estate sector.
Organised by the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), the trade show is expected to create greater interactions among the stakeholders including realtors, their clients, property dealers and financial institutions, a statement said.
After 2013 edition of the event, record 230 stalls are taking part in the fair, where different real estate companies will provide the visitors with information on their projects and sell properties.
Besides, a good number of construction materials-related business and financial institutions will participate at the fair to promote their products and services related to the housing sector.
A raffle draw will be held with the entry tickets of the trade show, which will offer a private car as the first prize, a motorcycle as second prize and others gifts.
The REHAB leaders are scheduled to brief media about the upcoming event at a city hotel today (Sunday).
Housing and Public Works Minister S M Rezaul Karim is scheduled to inaugurate the expo at a ceremony to be held at the BICC.
Earlier, the trade body of the country's real estate sector organised the five-day REHAB Fair in February this year.
