Robi sets up 3G Internet Corner at Ctg Press Club

CHITTAGONG, June 19: Country's second largest mobile phone operator, Robi Axiata Ltd, has set up 3G Internet Service at the Chittagong Press Club today.
The telecom operator has taken the step in a bid to open up internet opportunities for journalists as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mesbah Uddin inaugurated the Internet Corner as chief guest. He thanked the telecom operator for taking such a venture for the journalists.
Robi chief human resources officer Matiul Islam Nawshad shared the Robi's activities on corporate social responsibility. Mohiuddin Babar was also present there.
Chittagong Press Club president Ali Abbas said that for a long time they have been facing internet crisis at the Press Club. Now they are very happy that Robi has taken the initiative to meet the need of the journalists here. He hoped it will help them developing their professional capacities.
General Secretary of the Club Mohsin Chowdhury, senior journalists and executive committee members of the club attended the Internet Corner Inaugural Programme.
