Robi sets up Innovation Lab at IBA

Robi, the leading digital services provider, has set up the country's first ever Innovation Lab at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, says a statement.

Education Minister Dipu Moni inaugurated the state-of-the-art lab as the chief guest on Thursday.

Robi's Managing Director and CEO Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Chief Information Officer Asif Naimur Rashid, Chief Human Resources Officer Faisal Imtiaz Khan, IBA's Director Prof Dr Syed Ferhat Anwar and faculty members and students of IBA were present on the occasion.

The Innovation Lab has been set up with the purpose of introducing the IBA students to the latest digital technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as data analytics, block chain, Internet of Things (IoT) etc.

The Lab will also work as an incubator to hatch real-life business solutions to address various needs of the people of the country.

Robi will also collaborate with IBA to conduct market research projects on new products, brand and persona identification to help the company determine the best ways to serve its digitally savvy customers.
