Roche, Radiant sign agreement

F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Switzerland, and Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited have signed a 'Co-promotion' agreement in Dhaka recently.

F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Switzerland, a globally leading research-based innovative pharmaceutical company, and Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of the top-ten manufacturers of pharmaceutical products in Bangladesh and a leading importer of specialized life-saving medicines, have signed a "Co-promotion" agreement to bring synergy in the areas of alleviating severe disease conditions like cancer, ophthalmology and neurology in Bangladesh.

Building upon their successful existing partnership, Roche & Radiant have collaborated to introduce innovative "Co-Promotion" -- a synchronized promotional strategy, where both companies will work hand in hand to raise awareness and update healthcare professionals and patients about the benefits and advancements of Roche's oncology portfolio in Bangladesh.

Through this unique partnership, both companies aim to maximize their expertise and resources to significantly enhance patient care in Bangladesh.

To mark this remarkable achievement and signing of the agreement, a celebration event took place on Sunday, 12 November 2023, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dhaka.

Adriano Treve, Area Head of Roche's Central Eastern Europe, Turkey, Russia, and Indian Subcontinent (CEETRIS), graced the event with his presence. In his speech, he emphasized the significance of this collaboration, highlighting the potential to unlock new avenues for the accessibility of high-quality innovative treatments to the people of Bangladesh.

The Chairman of Radiant Pharmaceuticals, Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee, also attended the event expressing confidence in this novel collaboration as a milestone for Bangladesh pharmaceuticals industry. With a focus on mutual trust and cooperation, Zahedee envisioned a future where the pharmaceutical industry will thrive benefiting the nation and its citizens.

Among others present were Mark Heeb, Country Manager of Roche Bangladesh, & Lt. Gen. Sina Ibn Jamali, Managing Director & CEO of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited.
