CHATTOGRAM, Oct 03: Salam Airlines' maiden flight from Chattogram to Muscat left the Shah Amanat International Airport on Friday evening.
An Airbus-320 aircraft with 171 passengers and crew on board took off from Shah Amanat International Airport at 5:10pm on the day.
Manager of Shah Amanat International Airport Wing Commander Sarwar E Jaman said the Airbus-320 plane arrived at the airport at 4:05pm and left for Oman's capital Muscat at 5:10pm on Friday with 171 passengers and members of crew."
Salam Airlines' airport manager (Bangladesh) Istiak Hafiz said, the Chattogram-Muscat is the 23rd international route of the airline and Chattogram is the second destination of the airline in Bangladesh.
"We are operating flights on Dhaka-Chattogram route in Bangladesh regularly."
