Sanofi approves 10pc dividend

 The 51st Annual General Meeting of Sanofi Bangladesh Limited was held recently.
 Chairman of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation Mohammad Iqbal presided over the AGM. Dr. Dilip Kumar Sharma ndc, Joint Secretary, Mr. Md. Ziaur Rahman Khan, Joint Secretary, Mr. A.K.M. Masudur Rahman, Deputy Secretary represented the Ministry of Industries and Mr. Md. Lutfor Rahman, Senior GM (Finance), Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation. Government of Bangladesh holds a significant share of 45.36 per cent in the company. Dr Mohammad Riad Mamun Prodhani, Managing Director, Dr. Shailesh Ayyangar, Vice President - South Asia, Sanofi, Mr. Lionel Guerin, Chief Financial Officer, South Asia, Sanofi and Muhammad Tajdiqul Islam, Director Finance & Administration and Company Secretary attended the meeting.
The shareholders approved 10 per cent dividend for the year 2014. As a result, Bangladesh Government will receive Taka 16.3 million as dividend, said a statement.
