Saudia Airlines is deepening its presence in the Bangladeshi market as part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 initiative, which seeks to enhance tourism and economic ties, reports BSS.

With over five decades of service in Bangladesh, Saudia aims to expand its operations and better serve Bangladeshi passengers, who are key to the Kingdom's tourism goals, said a press release.

Since launching its first flight to Dhaka in 1980, Saudia has become a trusted carrier for Bangladeshi travellers, offering direct connections to Jeddah, Riyadh, and Medina.

The airline currently operates multiple weekly flights from Dhaka and Chattogram, reinforcing its strong position in the region.

Saudi Arabia is targeting over three million Bangladeshi visitors annually by 2030, reflecting its ambition to position tourism as a cornerstone of its economy. This focus aligns with the Kingdom's broader vision of welcoming 330 million global visitors by the same year.

To enhance the travel experience, Saudia has introduced innovative digital services, including the BETA version of Travel Companion (TC), an AI-powered platform that enables passengers to book hotels, transportation, and activities seamlessly. The airline has also revamped its AlFursan loyalty programme, simplifying reward management and membership upgrades, ensuring a more user-friendly experience.
