Seminar on business sustainability held in city

 The Telenor Group in association with the Norwegian Embassy Thursday organised a seminar on "Business Sustainability-perspective on creating shared value" at a city hotel, reports BSS.

Katja Nordgaard, Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Affairs at Telenor Group, made a key-note speech on sustainable business practices and the long term perspective of shared value creation for business and society across Asia.

The keynote speech was followed by a panel discussion on recent developments in the areas of business and sustainability.

Speaking at the seminar the Telenor Head of Corporate Affairs indicated that "as the industry leader, Grameenphone was at an important position of influence in leading business sustainability in Bangladesh."

Merete Lundemo, Norwegian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Matlub Ahmed, President of FBCCI, Dr Debapriya Bhatachariya, Distinguished Fellow of Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Nooruddin Chowdhury, Country Manager of DHL, and Hans Henrichsen, Chief Representative Officer, Telenor Country Office- Bangladesh, were present as panelists.

Dr Syed Ferhat Anwar, Professor at the Institute of Business

Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, moderated the panel discussion.
