Md Serajul Islam, FCMA, has been re-appointed as the chief executive officer of ERA-InfoTech Limited, a leading software company in the country, says a press release.
Prior to joining the software company, Mr Islam started off his banking career as a Financial Analyst at Sonali Bank Limited. Later, he served Bank Asia Limited as the Deputy Head of the ICT department as well as a Business Analyst.
He was involved in automation and implementing the largest poverty alleviation project of the government-'Amar Bari Amar Khamar'.
Mr Islam has completed his graduation and post-graduation from the University of Dhaka. He also has FCMA and DAIBB professional degrees.
Mr Islam completed international courses on Business Innovation by Information Technology (BIIT) & Eco Business Innovation from Japan and the 'Advanced Manage-ment Executive Program' course from The University of Hong Kong.
Mr. Islam was selected as one of the most respected 100 CEOs in Bangladesh by Ajker Arthokantho in 2015.
He is also recognised as a children's story writer by the Ministry of Culture and the Bangla Academy.
