SEZ in Chunarughat planned

HABIGANJ, Oct 4 (BSS): The authorities concerned are considering the setting up of a special economic zone (SEZ) in Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj district.

Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) Fakhrul Islam on Saturday visited the proposed area in Chunarughat with Habiganj Deputy Commissioner M Jainal Abedin and other high officials.

During the visit, Mr Islam suggested the officials concerned to prepare a proposal involving 500 acres of land for the planned SEZ.
