The 17th annual general meeting (AGM) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited was held at RAOWA Convention Centre in the city on Sunday, says a statement.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank Akkas Uddin Mollah presided over the meeting.
The meeting approved 10 per cent stock dividend for the shareholders for 2017.
Chairman Akkas Uddin Mollah, Managing Director Farman R Chowdhury and shareholders delivered speeches at the AGM.
Vice-Chairmen Mohammed Golam Quddus and Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Directors Dr Anwer Hossain Khan, Md Sanaullah Shahid, Shamsuddin Khan, Md Abdul Barek, Abdul Halim, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Engineer Md Towhidur Rahman, AK Azad, Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Khorshed Alam Khan, Md Moshiur Rahman Chamak and Tahera Faruque, among others, attended the meeting.
