Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), a member institution of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, at the IsDB Group Private Sector Forum (PSF)-2024 held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, recently. Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Chairman of IsDB Group Dr Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser signed the MoU. Under this agreement, Shahjalal Islami Bank will receive USD 35 million assistance from ICD in Shariah-based financing.
