SHIMANTO BANK SIGNS AGREEMENT ON START-UP REFINANCE SCHEME
Shimanto Bank has recently signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank to participate in the Start-up Refinance Scheme, amounting to Tk 5.0 billion, to support start-up CMSMEs. Under this agreement, start-up enterprises will be able to access working capital financing at an interest rate of 4% per annum. Nawshad Mustafa, Director (SMESPD), Bangladesh Bank, and Mohammad Azizul Hoque, Managing Director & CEO (CC) of Shimanto Bank, signed the MoU in presence of Nurun Nahar, Deputy Governor, Bangladesh Bank.
