Shyamol Das joins Meghna Bank as DMD

Shyamol B. Das has joined Meghna Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Information Officer recently, says a statement.

Prior to joining Meghna Bank, Mr. Shyamol was the senior executive vice president and chief information & digital officer at Mutual Trust Bank Ltd.

Mr. Shyamol has been one of the top technocrats in the banking industry. Being an expert in technology and digital transformation, he has contributed to the banking industry in regards to development of digital banking system and payment channels, transformation of technology to businesses with much simplicity.

In his career of more than 23 years, he worked in BRAC Bank Limited and different industries at home and abroad.

He possesses overseas degrees in engineering, including MSc in Infor-mation Management & Security from Royal Holloway University of London, UK, and BSc in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangalore University, India.
