Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) inaugurated its 97th branch 'Sayedpur Branch' at Altaf Tower, Shahid Dr Zikrul Hoq Road, Sayedpur, Nilphamari on Thursday, said a statement.

Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Maj (retd) Dr Md Rezaul Haque inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.

Managing Director of SIBL Md Shafiqur Rahman presided over the programme. Whip of the Opposition Party Md Shawkat Chowdhury, MP, Director of the bank Abdul Mohit, Sayedpur Upazila Chairman Jawadul Haque Sarker and Sayedpur Pourashova Mayor Amjad Hossain Sarker were present on the occasion as special guests.

Chairman of the Board Audit Committee of the bank Md Abdur Rahman, directors Nasiruddin, Abdul Jabbar Mollah, Maj Gen Fazle Elahi Akbar (retd) and Md Abdur Razzaque and other senior officials of the bank were present on the occasion, among others.
