SINGAPORE, Sept 24 (Xinhua): Singapore's Consumer Price Index (CPI) grew 0.7 per cent in August, 0.1 percentage points higher than that in July, said the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in a joint release on Monday.
The MAS Core Inflation, which excludes the costs of accommodation and private road transport, came in at 1.9 per cent on a year-on-year basis, unchanged from the previous month.
