Bangladesh Development Bank PLC is going to be merged with Sonali Bank PLC. To this end, both the banks signed an MoU on Sunday. Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rouf Talukdar was present as the chief guest at the signing ceremony. In presence of Sonali Bank Chairman Ziaul Hasan Siddiqui and Bangladesh Development Bank Chairman Shamima Nargis, the MoU was signed by Sonali Bank CEO Md Afzal Karim and Bangladesh Development Bank Managing Director and CEO Md Habibur Rahman Gazi.
