Southtech showcases microfinance innovations

Southtech Limited arranged a day-long workshop to introduce and showcase its technological innovations and advancements in the field of microfinance, the company said.

Senior officials from Southtech Financial Solutions Division presented the new solutions to key members of Microfinance Regulatory Authority (MRA), PKSF, and PKSF funded partner organizations. Among the partner organisations Sajida Foundation, DISA, RDRS, Srizony Bangladesh, CODEC, and IDF were present, it said in a statement.

The introductory session served as a platform to discuss the standard regulations and how Southtech accommodates them. Later sessions were on technology innovation showcasing Southtech Ascend Field Collect- Android collection application and Ascend Horizo- financial inclusion solution.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the introduction of Ascend Financials- a new generation web-based microfinance management solution built on Java Technology stack that is platform independent. This is yet another step for Southtech Limited and its partners towards a new dimension of sophistication.
