MADRID, Feb 2 (Xinhua): Spain's inflation rate, measured by the country's own methodology, stood at 0.2 per cent in January, down from 0.3 per cent in December 2013, according to preliminary data issued by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
Spain's European Union-harmonised consumer price index rose 0.3 per cent year-on-year in January, the same as in December, the data has shown.
The INE will confirm the data on Feb. 14 when it will report detailed information about consumer prices.
