Special fund for flood victims

The Disaster Management and Relief Ministry Sunday allocated special fund for the flood affected people of Cox's bazar, Chittagong and Bandarban areas, reports BSS.

The ministry allocated 230 tonnes of rice and Tk 1.7 million for Cox's Bazar, 150 tonnes of rice and Tk 1 million  for Bandarban and 50 tonnes of rice and Tk 1 million for Chittagong.

The fund would be released on Thursday, said a press release.

To control any other emergency 100  tonnes food grain and Tk 0.2 million have been reserved for each area.
