STANDARD ISLAMI BANK HOLDS WORKSHOP ON SHARIAH COMPLIANCE IN BANKING

Standard Islami Bank PLC organised a workshop titled `Shariah Compliance in Banking Operations` at the bank's head office on Tuesday. The event was presided over by Managing Director of the bank Riad Mahmud Chowdhury. Chairman of the bank's Shariah Supervisory Committee Mufti Mohammad Muhibbullahil Baqee An-Nadwi was present as the chief guest, while member of Shariah Supervisory Committee Professor Dr. Hafiz Muztaba Riza Ahmed attended as special guest. The workshop was conducted by Additional Managing Director Md. Siddiqur Rahman.
