Tally Solutions honours 25 MSMEs for economic contributions

Tally Solutions, a leading provider of business management software, hosted MSME Honours to celebrate 25 exceptional micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) for their significant contributions in Bangladesh's economic ecosystem.
Held at a city hotel on Thursday, the event showcased the resilience, innovation, and excellence of these enterprises, according to a press statement.
The ceremony recognised winners across five categories: 'Wonder Woman', 'Business Maestro', 'NewGen Icon', 'Tech Transformer', and 'Champion of Cause'. This year, the awards garnered over 600 nominations from across the country, reflecting the dynamic growth and creativity of Bangladesh's MSME sector.
Prominent industry leaders attended the event, including Parveen Mahmud, fellow chartered accountant (FCA) and former president of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB); Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, director of Evince Group; Md. Nazrul Islam FCA, managing director of Runner Group; Ananda Chandra Naha, executive director of Gazi Tanks; Imtiaz Nawsher, head of marketing at BYD Bangladesh; and Shanat Dutta, chief financial officer of Runner Automobiles.
The awards highlighted the achievements of women entrepreneurs under the 'Wonder Woman category', with winners including Afroza Sultana of Zaarins Creation, Kaniz Fatema of Prime Enterprise, Sabina Yesmin of Aimer Merchant, Atika Rahman of Te Ranga, and Nazneen Kamal Shupty of The Garage Food Court. Their remarkable contributions exemplified the growing influence of women in Bangladesh's business landscape.
The 'Business Maestro' category recognised leaders who have set benchmarks in business excellence. This year's honorees included Abul Kalam Hasan of Halima Group, Md. Ibrahim Hossain of Sagor Traders, Md. Abdul Khaleque of AK Traders, Omar Farooque of Alin Food Products, and Monzur Sajjad of Artisan Tiles and Concrete Products.
In the 'Tech Transformers' category, enterprises that have embraced digital innovation were celebrated. Among the winners were Mohd. Abdul Mannan of Italy Footwear, Paritosh Kumar Malo of RK Metal, Babul Chandra Barmon of Dynamic Pyrolysis, Planten Agro, and Dr. Khaleda Adib of Total Wellness Care, whose efforts are driving technological advancement in their respective industries.
The 'Champion of Cause' category honored businesses making impactful contributions to society. Wahida Khanam of the Foundation for Women and Child Assistance, Dr. Md. Shahiduzzaman of ESDO, Jhumona Mullick of Neuroshade, Samiran Dutta of Mon Bagan, and Taslima Ferdowsi Mili of Belaseshe were recognised for their dedication to meaningful change.
Finally, the 'NewGen Icon' category celebrated emerging entrepreneurs who introduced innovative solutions to modern challenges. This year's winners included Redwan Ferdous of JRC IOT Board, Md. Abdur Rashid Sohag of Pupil School Bus, Farhan Tanvir of Big Shot, Nurul Hasan of Cake Stories, and Afeef Zaman of ShopUp.
