'TARA' completes its one year journey

BRAC Bank's comprehensive women's banking solutions, 'TARA', has completed the first year of its journey in the country.
A leading private commercial bank in the country, BRAC Bank celebrated the first anniversary of the launch of TARA in the capital recently, says a statement.
Selim R F Hussain, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and other officials of BRAC Bank, attended Tara's first anniversary celebration programme at the bank's head office recently.
The statement said BRAC Bank is the first bank to launch women's banking with a commitment for their wellbeing and an approach to appreciate the contribution to the economy made by the women of the country.
Since its launching, TARA has been packed with savings and current accounts for women entrepreneurs and businesses. It offers higher interest rates for deposits, retail loans with preferential rates and discounted processing fee.
Besides, TARA guides the women to plan their financing better, achieve economic freedom and reach the goals that they set for their advancement.
