PHOENIX INS AGM APPROVES 15PC CASH DIVIDEND

The 37th Annual General Meeting of the Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. was held on a digital platform in Dhaka recently, with its Chairman Mohammed Shoeb in the chair. In 2022, the company earned a total premium of Tk 683.9 million (68.39 cr) and pre-tax profit of Tk 104.9 million (10.49 cr). The total asset of the company in 2022 was Tk 2.27 billion (227.14 cr). The meeting approved 15 per cent cash dividend for the year 2022. Directors Mazharul Haque, Mohammed Haider Ali, Dr Sharmin Sultana, Manzoorul Haque, Fabiana Aziz, MA Majid, Md Nazmul Hasan, Iftakharul Islam, Managing Director & CEO Md Jamirul Islam and Company Secretary Md Rafiqur Rahman joined the virtual meeting.
