Three-day regional tourism fair in September

A three-day regional tourism fair will be held in Dhaka in September next to promote the tourism and hospitality sector.
The event titled the '13th Asian Tourism Fair (ATF Dhaka) 2026' will take place between September 17 and 19 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital's Purbachal area.
To this effect, the organiser of the fair Parjatan Bichitra inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bangladesh Outbound Tour Operators Forum (BOTOF) on Thursday during the BOTOF Annual Members Meet held in a city hotel on Thursday.

Chairman of Asian Tourism Fair Mohiuddin Helal & Editor of Parjatan Bichitra, and BOTOF President Chowdhury Hasanuzzaman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
The information was available through a press statement, issued by ATF Dhaka Fair Director Borhan Uddin on Friday.
The MOU is aimed at establishing mutual cooperation and strategic collaboration for the successful organization and promotion of the upcoming event.
Under the agreement, BOTOF will participate as a Supporting Organisation/Forum for organising the ATF Dhaka 2026. BOTOF members will participate in the ATF-Dhaka with special discounted rates. The collaboration aims to establish B2B networking, strengthen outbound tourism promotion, regional tourism networking, and professional engagement among tourism stakeholders from Bangladesh and abroad.
The 13th Asian Tourism Fair 2026 will focus on Outbound Tourism, Domestic & Inbound Tourism, Medical Tourism, and Tourism Investment Showcase. The event is expected to host more than 300 exhibitors from over 15 countries, creating significant opportunities for destination promotion, tourism investment, knowledge exchange, and B2B networking.
