Three modules of GRP software developed

Three modules of the Government Resource Planning (GRP) software have been developed under the Bangladesh E-government ERP Project to ensure the government's transparency and accountability, says a press release.

Three modules are Meeting Management, Procurement, and Asset. A workshop was held recently on implementation of the modules at the Planning Division, Planning Commission, NAPD and BIDS.

Speaking at the inaugural session of the workshop, Planning Minister MA Mannan expressed his satisfaction over the development of the modules by the local talented people.

Also present was State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak.

He said, "We are developing an ERP system combining ten modules for the government with the help of the local institutions under a pilot project."
