Ties with educational instts targeted

A team of senior officials from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay and representatives from German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) arrives in the city today (Wednesday) on a five-day visit.
They are coming to Bangladesh aiming to create better awareness on educational opportunities available at IIT, Bombay for students at post-graduation and doctoral levels and forging collaborative relationships with higher educational institutions in Bangladesh, reports UNB.
The IIT, Bombay delegation members include Director of the Institute Prof Devang V Khakhar, Deputy Director (Admin & Internal Affairs) Prof Subhasis Chaudhuri and Dean (International Relations) Prof Rajiv Dusane.
The Indian High Commission in Dhaka will host an interactive session at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) at 4pm in the city on the day.
