Training for small industry owners begins in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, May 10 (BSS) : A five-day training on capacity building for the small industry owners has begun at the auditorium of Zila Parishad of the town here on Saturday with a call to run their industries with efficiency.

Engineering Industry Owner Association (EIOA) district unit, Bangladesh Engineering Industry Owner Association (BEIOA), and Light Engineering Product Business Council under the Ministry of Commerce jointly arranged the training.

Assistant general manager of BSCIC (Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation) AKM Musfiqur Rahman formally inaugurated the training programme as the chief guest.

With former president of district EIOA Ashraful Alam Khaza in the chair, the inaugural session was also addressed, among others, by member of BEIOA Habibur Rahman, general secretary of district EIOA Amzad Hossain and trainer engineer Asanuruzzaman.

The speakers stressed the need for acquiring knowledge from the training and to apply it at their respective industry to run it smoothly.

A total of 30 small industry owners of the district are taking part in the training..
