TRAINING FOR SME ENTREPRENEURS

Bank Asia Limited in association with Bangladesh Bank has organised a certificate awarding ceremony of a month-long training programme for 26 SME entrepreneurs in Cox's Bazar recently. The certificates were handed over to the participants at the closing ceremony. Some potential entrepreneurs have also received loans to run their businesses. Md Nazrul Islam, Additional Director (Credit Guarantee Dept.), Bangladesh Bank, was present as the chief guest and Mohammad Jahid Iqbal, Joint Director (SMESPD), Bangladesh Bank, and Shaminoor Rahman, Head of MSME, Bank Asia, were present as special guests. The training was funded by Asian Development Bank and managed by the Skills for Employment Investment Programme (SEIP) of SME and Special Programmes Department, Bangladesh Bank.
