UCB HOSTS TRAINING FOR AGRI ENTREPRENEURS

A daylong skill development training for agricultural entrepreneurs from 12 upazilas of Sunamganj district was held in Sunamganj Sadar on Sunday. The event was organised under the nationwide agricultural support scheme of United Commercial Bank (UCB) PLC, titled 'Bhoroshar Notun Janala'. ATM Tahmiduzzaman, Additional Managing Director and Company Secretary of United Commercial Bank (UCB), chaired the event while Aminul Islam, Director, Bangladesh Bank, was present as the chief guest. Rezaul Karim Siddique, presenter of BTV's agriculture-based show 'Mati O Manush' and an agricultural analyst, attended the event as special guest. Some 285 agricultural entrepreneurs attended the training programme.
