Union Bank gets new DMD

Mizanur Rahman, a veteran banker with 34 years of experience, has recently joined the Shariah-based Union Bank as Deputy Managing Director, says a press statement.
Earlier, Mr. Rahman served as Senior Executive Vice President of First Security Islami Bank.
He started off his banking career as a Probationary Officer at Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC in 1992. Mr. Rahman served as the head of various wings and zones of Islami Bank and head of eight branches in Feni, Chattogram and Dhaka for about 21 years.
He has also significant contributions to agent banking, microfinance, digital products & services and electronic banking of the IBBPLC.
Mizanur Rahman obtained his Bachelor's (Honours) and Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Chittagong. He secured second position in S.S.C examinations under the Cumilla Board.
Mr. Rahman received training on various aspects of the bank at home and abroad.
