High officials of Walton inaugurate 'AI Doctor' feature for smart fridge at a programme at the conference room of Walton Corporate Office on Sunday. Walton, a super brand in refrigerator sector, introduced the artificial intelligent system 'AI Doctor' feature in IoT (Internet of Things)-based smart fridge for the first time in Bangladesh.
The 'AI Doctor' feature was invented by the team of Walton Research and Innovation (R&I) Centre, says a press release.
Walton officials inaugurated the 'AI Doctor' feature at a programme held at the conference room of Walton Corporate Office in the capital on Sunday.
The function was attended, among others, by Walton Plaza's Managing Director Mohammad Rayhan, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Additional Managing Director Nazrul Islam Sarker and Eva Rizwana Nilu, Deputy Managing Director Md. Yousuf Ali, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Didarul Alam Khan, Walton Fridge's Chief Business Officer Tahasinul Haque, Deputy CBO Anisur Rahman Mollick, Walton Fridge R&I Center's Head Azmal Ferdous Bappi and Deputy Head Abdul Malek Sikder.
This 'AI Doctor' feature can analyse the performance of Walton Smart fridge automatically. From the performance data, it can tell what kind of problem is occurring and also predict probable component failure. Then the system will try to heal itself. If it sees no improvement, the 'AI Doctor' will send notification to the nearest service centre with customer contact. Then the respective service centre will check the 'AI Doctor'-generated root cause analysis and service expert will reach out to the customer for providing swift after sales service.
