Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited is working on setting up the largest Research and Development (R&D) centre with advanced machinery and technical experts in the consumer electronics industry of Asia, reports UNB.
With the aim of expanding its market across the world through introducing new models and improving quality of its existing wide variety of products, Walton has given more emphasis on research and development, according to a press release.
More than 400 highly qualified and experienced engineers from home and abroad are employed at the R&D centre in Walton Hi-Tech Industries.
On the way of turning its R&D centre into the Asia's largest one, the local brand has already doubled its existing number of engineers during the last couple of months to produce world-class products at affordable price level.
Along with massive and coordinated research and development activities, the company also opened separate product-based R&D department.
The regular research and development activities of the R&D centre are resulted in manufacturing high standard products with low production cost.
The Walton's authorities said they started the R&D activities in 2005. During the last ten years, they have been able to undertake massive steps for establishing largest R&D centre in Asia.
