Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif Thursday said the problems relating to vested property and land management will get resolved if all concerned perform their duties properly.
He said this, while speaking at a workshop on vested property and land management as the chief guest organised by the Land Ministry in the city, reports UNB.
Assistant commissioners (Land), deputy commissioner (Revenue) and assistant deputy commissioner (Revenue) attended the workshop, among others.
"One can't be given any land property if he or she coming from India claims a land as his/her own. A logical decision is needed to be taken in this regard," the minister said.
Admitting people's harassments in land offices, state minister for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury said, "We want to earn reputation, not criticism".
Stern actions will be taken if any allegation of irregularities and harassment is found", he added.
Work together to resolve vested property problem, says Minister
