Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) organised a workshop on installation of rooftop industrial solar systems at a city hotel recently, with Senior Secretary of the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Abdur Rouf Talukder, as the chief guest. German Ambassador Achim Tröster was present as a special guest at the event presided over by IDCOL Chairman Fatima Yasin Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) organised a workshop on installation of rooftop industrial solar systems at a hotel in the capital recently.
The objective of the workshop was to promote rooftop solar technology among the suppliers of H&M, according to a statement.
Bangladesh government has expressed its vision to generate 4,200 megawatt (MW) of electricity from renewable energy sources by 2030.
Abdur Rouf Talukder, senior secretary of the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance was present at the workshop as the chief guest. German Ambassador to Bangladesh Achim Tröster attended the event as the special guest.
Fatima Yasin, secretary to the Economic Relation Division and chairman of IDCOL, chaired the event.
