Workshop on women entrepreneurship

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 27 (BSS) : An eight-day training workshop for women entrepreneurs on "Basic Beautification and Basic Sewing Cutting" ended here Wednesday.

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) organised the training workshop with the financial assistance of Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

About 40 women entrepreneurs took part in the workshop in two groups to boost their skill on sewing and cutting and beautification.

FBCCI sources said each trainee would be provided with a sewing machine and a beauty box free of cost to start their self-reliance service.

About 160 unemployed young men and women of the district would also be given different professional training during the current year, the sources added.
