Former Finance Secretary Zakir Ahmed Khan has assumed office of the Chairman of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).
Upon his arrival at PKSF Bhaban on Sunday, he was welcomed by PKSF's acting Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader and Additional Managing Director Dr Md Jashim Uddin.
Deputy Managing Directors AQM Golam Mawla, Md Mashiar Rahman, Dr Fazle Rabbi Sadeque Ahmed, Md Hasan Khaled, Dr Akond Md Rafiqul Islam, and other senior officials were also present there, said a press release.
After taking charge, Zakir Ahmed Khan met the senior officials of PKSF who briefed him on the vast range of PKSF's activities aimed at poverty alleviation through employment generation in a sustainable manner.
Earlier on August 28, 2024, the government appointed Zakir Ahmed Khan as the 8th Chairman of PKSF for a three-year term.
