A provocative comment

BARRISTER Rafiqul Islam Mia, a standing committee member of the opposition BNP, recently claimed that there was no mention of the war of independence in the instrument of surrender and according to that document it was a war between India and Pakistan in 1971. It was a provocative statement. The country has been undermined by this comment. His comment is highly objectionable and simply treasonable. Appropriate legal action should be taken against him.
