The computer was first invented to do simple mathematical calculations efficiently and easily. But now, it has become a part and parcel of modern life. It is being used at every step of our lives. However, the excessive use of computer may create serious problems for people.
The evolving dependence on the computer and computerized machines can occupy people in different sectors, specially in industries and thus, it can create unemployment. Computerized machines, like robots, will gradually replace humans from their work and make them lazy and dull. Moreover, if these robots are used in destructive works, the earth will be on the edge of extinction.
Again, nowadays, we mostly depend on e-mails to communicate with others. The tradition of visiting relatives is declining. Thus, the computer will gradually make us unsocial.
Then, extreme reliance on the computer will hamper our learning intensity. People will depend on computers rather than the brain to store all the information. This will slowly shrink the memorising ability of humankind.
Despite many great advantages and contributions of the computer in human lives, it, however, can generate severe problems also.
