Chittagong City Corporation Election, held on June 17, was more or less a peaceful one - except for some unfortunate incidents towards the end. The election commission deserves thanks for holding such a free and fair election. Actually, people want change in everything. In this year's City Corporation poll, the reality came true.
Now we would like the newly-elected mayor to work for uplifting people, i.e. giving a new turn for the greater interest of the masses. We congratulate our newly-elected mayor!
