Connectivity and non-tariff barriers

Recently, the member states of SAARC have agreed to establish road and railway links to boost intra region economic cooperation.
We hope that connectivity would help solve the problems to speed up economic cooperation and trade within the region.
But unless the tariff and non tariff barriers are removed, connectivity cannot produce the desired results.
