Deliverance from maddening traffic jams

A destination to be arrived at in twenty minutes needs at least one and a half hours or more to be reached nowadays due to traffic jam. The jams are noted to be turning only more horrendous every day.
Hardly are there any large-scale political disturbances or marching rallies leading to road blocks in the city nowadays. Thus, it is only the failure of the traffic wing of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to enforce their earlier plans to reduce the maddening traffic jams. Better traffic policing can bring about quick changes in the situation.
