Food instead of weapon

Due to the advancement of science and technology many mass destructive weapons have been invented. With the help of these weapons, the terrorists are instigating violence among the innocent people. Therefore, the necessity of producing these lethal weapons is questionable where millions of people are starving and many more are dying in need of food around the world. Spending huge amount of money after producing these weapons instead of supplying food, healthcare and shelter to the poor can never be acceptable.
All human beings are equal. Our dearest Rasul (SM) says, "Don't instigate war against anybody, don't kill anyone to establish justice and the 'din' (religion) of Allah.'' This implies that none is the master of human beings sans Allah. His supremacy is above all. For the sake of obedience to Allah, at the outset, call them to accept Islam. If negative, ask them to pay war-tax, just to live in peace. If they further create disturbance, call them to war. After all, don't lay your hands upon the elderly women, children and those who are not at fault. Show mercy if they demand."
After conquering Makkah, our dearest Prophet freed all the inhabitants and slaves. He also had the glory of freeing the captives during the crusades. The present leaders of the world should take lesson from this to promote peace and help the starving people throughout the world.
