IT is alleged that some corrupt elements in the law-enforcing department are involved in various anti-social activities; they even allure people into committing crimes.

Some days back a group of law-enforcing people came to a residential hotel, Naseria, at Khatungonj in Chittagong. They raided all the rooms of the hotel at night, but they found no anti-social activities there. While leaving the hotel, they allegedly assured the hotel manager saying that ''You can keep 'call-girls' from now on in your hotel so that you and we both can receive benefits!''

Under the circumstances, we want the government to look into this matter and take necessary steps soon.
