HR development through moral filtering
September 16, 2009 00:00:00
The business world seeks efficient and effective manpower but the real problem arises when the businesses witness the fall of the quality of their manpower. The basic reason for this is the erosion of moral values.
The problem arises when the employees become crazy to earn money by any means, fair or foul. Some even may sell the company's trade secrets to a rival company. Some others may deceive the government by not entering some accounts in the accounting system and thus deprive the government of tax. Such unscrupulous employees create an unhealthy management environment which reeks with corruption and bribe.
A solution to this problem lies in imparting moral or ethical lessons to the employees. The Human Resource (HR) manager of a company may arrange a session of common moral session. He may also arrange for the training of the employees in accordance with their respective religious doctrines about morality, because every religion asks the people to be ethical. This kind of moral filtering may help improve the quality of the manpower by reducing corruption and all sorts of unethical and immoral behaviour of the employees.
